From Overwhelmed to Aligned: A Tree, a Breath, and the Return to Self
Everything was over. My crew and I were having our last dinner—sharing highlights, good vibes, feeling fulfilled. I was tired, but in a good way: energized, inspired, full of new insights.
Then my phone rang. It was my family. I wasn’t ready. No guard up. Suddenly pulled into negativity—into the world I had stepped away from. I felt my expanded, blissful self shrink into a tight, fragile point.
So I walked. Slowly, to the biggest tree on the land. I sat beneath it and breathed—just one deep inhale, then another. I began reclaiming space, finding center. With each breath, clarity returned. My posture straightened. Blood flowed. New perspectives emerged.
And in a few minutes, I was back. Grounded. Blissful. Whole.
Inhale—let life in.
