About me
My name is Volga; I am an Indigenous of planet Earth, a native of Moscow, Asian capital of Russia…my ancestors are from Siberia and Volga river - Northern region. I also lived five years in Israel reconnecting with my Jewish roots. The current of my life brought me on the Turtle Island, i.e. to Massachusetts, USA, where I have been residing and growing new roots since 1996.
Today I am so lucky to live in a little healing sanctuary of nature and spirit, called the NEST, abbreviating for Natural Energies for Spiritual Transformation , little healing sanctuary of nature and spirit, located in Weston, MA, where we are cultivating new traditions, learning gardening and beekeeping, and slowly growing our community.
Here we organize a wide range of personal-growth, mind-fullness and mind-expansion events, such as weekly yoga practices, monthly lunar circles for women, community gatherings, family & system constellations,drum-making workshops, astrology interactive workshops, full moon shadow work and many other events.
I am a yoga-teacher and spirit embodiment guide, I am a community builder and events-organizer, i am a songwriter and a woman-frame-drummer, I am a ritualista and celebrant. Welcome to my project – VOLGABO.
VOLGABO is an ongoing lifelong project dedicated to spiritual , mental and physical wellness of a human living in XXI century. Volgabo is a wide-range or mixed-media of healing and performing ARTS such as yoga, breath, dance, voice, energy-practices and other healing modalities under a wide umbrella of consciousness, original beauty and health. Where H E A L T H is a new wealth. Where Nature is our origin, our mother, our home and endless source of inspiration, evolution and growth.
I embarked on this self-exploration journey in my early twenties and since then, have been immersed in finding and using the tools that helped me stay happy, engaged, inspired and healthy.
On my path, I’ve traveled and encountered so many healing wisdoms spread across the globe and it’s indigenous nations, across various mystical and spiritual traditions. This journey does not have a destination point.
Today I am inspired to design and facilitate conscious Life Celebration events: weddings, bridal showers, birthday parties. I love to fuse the rituals and songs from different traditions, cultures, languages so that this special celebration carries a unique, authentic flavor and unforgettable memories .
