Women circle is a unique experience when one can feel deeply connected to oneself through the prism of other women. I remember very well when I was about to visit the first women circle I was confused about what it is - is it some kind of pagan tradition of getting together to play some folk games or if it is group therapy to help to gain some knowledge about yourself, your pains and joys through the eyes of other women? It definitely has elements of both. It is a spiritual practice of group therapy rooted in time and in the basics of your own nature. My first visit was driven by curiosity, my second visit was driven by the need to deal with my anxieties and worries, my third time was to share my wisdom and joy. For me it is a practice of giving and receiving. The practice is relaxing in a sense of atmosphere and environment and at the same time it requires you to work on your awareness of your feelings and thoughts. This practice is a deliberate attempt to bring yourself to a deeper understanding of your actions and thoughts. Volga uses lots of methods to teach awareness which is the crucial part of our mind that brings peace to one’s wild emotions and hard-wired rationality. I highly recommend this practice from this standpoint.”
